The Role

The Aiviq Graduate Analyst Developer role is varied, working with both the Client Services team to get a good understanding of our products and the issues that arise, and the Engineering and Technology teams to help to develop solutions to the issues that arise while also assisting with greenfield system development.

Our goal is to bring value to the customer. The primary value that we deliver to customers is one of clean, useable data on a consistent daily basis to allow the data to bring insight to their business. There are a large number of moving parts to our system to achieve this goal, including bespoke data ingestion technologies, databases, user interfaces, various cloud technologies and APIs.

As you develop in the role, you’ll be exposed to a wider range of technology and allowed to grow into areas of interest and aptitude while both assisting and being guided  by an exceptional Engineering and Technology team.

Candidate Profile

Aiviq is looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

  • Strong academic record, ideally in a STEM field.
  • Strong interest in systems development and/or cloud technology, with an understanding of good development principles.
  • Experience developing application code, ideally commercially or for personal projects, using any of the modern languages.
  • Demonstrable experience, affinity and aptitude for:
  • Undertaking data analysis with the ability to understand and explain large and complex data sets
  • Conceptual thinking and clear and creative communication skills
  • Organisation and use of personal productivity and planning tools
  • Project management with agile, waterfall or hybrid methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Open minded, sceptical disposition and a willingness to learn and take on responsibility quickly

  • Online application, including CV upload and gamified tests
  • Video interview
  • Telephone interview
  • Half-day assessment centre
  • Final stage interview

You will know within 7 working days whether you have been successful between interview stages.
