The Role

Aiviq Technology is seeking a motivated and proactive Azure Developer to join our team and play a key role in the development and management of our Azure environment. This is a unique opportunity for those looking to kickstart a strong career in cloud technologies, particularly Azure development.

In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our Azure resources, manage client environments, and implement automation processes. You will also coordinate with our Information Security team in the event of security incidents, providing a first line of response and implementing mitigation strategies.

You will have the opportunity to master a variety of programming languages and tools, including Azure PowerShell, Azure CLI, C#, SQL, and Python. You will be guided and supported as you build your expertise with Azure technologies, including Azure SQL, Storage, Service Bus, AKS, ACR, Helm, Azure DevOps, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Candidate Profile

Aiviq is looking for candidates that meet the following criteria:

Strong academic record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• An interest or basic knowledge of the Asset Management industry and its key business functions.
• Ability to manage complex situations and relationships.
• Aptitude for data analysis, with the capability to understand and explain large and complex data sets.
• A strong interest in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, and a desire to develop skills in Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, AKS, ACR, Helm, Azure DevOps, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Data Factory (ADF)).
• Understanding of or willingness to learn about information security principles.
• Business and commercial acumen.
• Organisational skills and adeptness in using personal productivity and planning tools.
• Open-minded, curious, and eager to take on new responsibilities and learn.

Key Learning Opportunities:

• Azure Development: You will design, build, and maintain efficient and reliable Azure codebases.

• Azure Services: You will learn and utilise Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Service Bus, AKS, ACR, Helm, Azure DevOps, Azure Sentinel, and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
• Information Security: You will play a vital role in responding to security incidents and coordinating with our Information Security team.

• Online application, including CV upload and gamified tests
• Video interview
• Telephone interview
• Half-day assessment centre
• Final stage interview

You will know within 7 working days whether you have been successful between interview stages.
